The Viking is Yamahas first ever multi-purpose three-seater Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle (ROV).

The Viking 700 is based around a high-torque single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine housed in a rugged chassis, and every aspect of engineering - from power supply through to handling character - is focused on the people in the middle of the machine. This results in a well-balanced ROV that combines Yamahas well-known rough terrain ability, usable and sensible power, with functionality and comfort.

This 3-seater is spacious with plenty of room for the cargo on the pallet size steel cargo bed, from the daily work tools and equipment during the week, to camping or fishing gear for those weekend trips.

Viking enhancements include automotive-style two-stage door latches and a parking brake warning buzzer. Noise and vibration reduction features include new rubber damper plates, a more rigid chassis, additional sound dampening materials and an engine-mounted torque rod for a more relaxing ride at any engine RPM. A reinforced rear steel cargo bed now incorporates mounting points on the bed rails and a rubber cargo bed mat further reduces sound and vibration.
